About Me

I started my photographic journey sometime between 2018 and 2019 as I was transitioning from high school to college. Growing up in Memphis there was art and creativity all around me, and within my circle. I started out taking my friends to the art district and experimenting with colored lights and levels of contrast. Before I found a passion in photography, I was fascinated by visual arts. I would always try to recreate painted versions of ideas and got frustrated when I couldn't make my thoughts tangible. I was fixated on lights and reflections during this time, so I decided to create these ideas with real people and lights that I could manipulate more clearly rather than trying to pull out these imperfect, incomplete thoughts and perfecting them on canvases. Before I knew it I was getting paid $35 to take portraits of people I barely knew, then engagements, then weddings. And from there the ball has never stopped rolling! I have so many supporters that have been monumental in my success and I love each and every one of you, whether you have been here from day one or found me at some other point on my journey and decided to stick around.  I love you all.
